Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Aurion Labs Ltd wants aurionlabs.io to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or reduced-motion settings.
1. Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We consider accessibility when we design and build each page, and we review it when we make changes.
2. What we have done
- Semantic HTML: pages use proper landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and a logical heading structure, so screen readers can navigate them.
- Keyboard navigation: every link, button, menu and form control can be reached and operated with a keyboard.
- Visible focus: interactive elements show a clear focus indicator.
- Skip link: a "skip to content" link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the navigation.
- Colour contrast: text and interface colours are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against our dark background. Colour is not used as the only way to convey information.
- Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, the animated particle background is turned off and other animations are minimised.
- Text alternatives: meaningful images have descriptive alternative text, and purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms: every form field has a visible label rather than relying on placeholder text.
- Responsive layout: pages work from small phone screens to large monitors and support browser zoom and text resizing.
3. Known limitations
- Animated background on the home page: this is a decorative canvas animation. It carries no information and is hidden from assistive technology. It is disabled when reduced motion is requested.
- Options payoff explorer: the interactive calculator provides a text summary of its results, but its charts are visual and cannot be fully explored by screen reader users. Please contact us if you need the information in another format.
- Calendly booking page: booking a call opens Calendly, a third-party service. We do not control the accessibility of its pages. If you have difficulty booking, email or phone us and we will arrange a call directly.
We are working to address these limitations where we can.
4. Feedback and contact
If you find a problem with accessibility on this site, or need content in a different format, please tell us:
- Email: hello@aurionlabs.io
- Phone: +44 7832 617626
Please include the page address and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
5. Enforcement
Under the Equality Act 2010, service providers must make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. If you contact us with a concern and are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) in England, Scotland and Wales, or the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
6. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 1 October 2026, based on a review of the site by Aurion Labs against WCAG 2.2 AA. We will review it when we make significant changes to the site.
