Trading platform development, engineered by people who trade on it
We design, build and operate custom trading software: browser and desktop terminals, order management and broker integrations that hold up when the market moves fast.
Most trading software fails at the edges: a stale quote that slips through, an order acknowledged twice after a reconnect, a Greeks calculation that drifts away from the broker's own figures. Aurion Labs builds trading platforms that treat those edges as the specification. Our own dual-broker options terminal runs in production against Interactive Brokers and Tastytrade, with live chains, an IV surface, a strategy composer and an order management system that passes every ticket through a pre-trade risk gate. That is the engineering we bring to client builds.
We work with brokers that need a branded front end, prop firms that want a terminal their traders will actually use, and funds that have outgrown spreadsheets and vendor screens. Scope ranges from a focused options trading platform to a full trading terminal development programme with market data, execution, journaling and reporting. Everything can ship under your brand through our white-label development model, and we can run it for you afterwards with the monitoring and deployment pipeline described on our DevOps and cloud page.
What we deliver
- Streaming option chains with per-strike Greeks and implied volatility
- Black-Scholes and Black-76 pricing with second-order Greeks
- Multi-leg combo orders routed as a single ticket
- Pre-trade risk gate for size, margin and exposure limits
- Reconnect-safe order state with idempotent client order IDs
- Normalised contract and symbol model across multiple brokers
- Beta-weighted delta and portfolio-level stress scenarios
- WebSocket fan-out of market data to browser clients
- Role-based access, audit trails and per-user permissions
- Containerised deployment with health checks and alerting
Trading Platforms, built for production.
Options trading terminals
Live option chains, first and second-order Greeks, IV surfaces, risk graphs and P&L heatmaps across index, futures and equity options, priced with Black-Scholes or Black-76 depending on the underlying.
Order management systems
Order tickets, multi-leg combo routing, working-order state machines and fill reconciliation, with a pre-trade risk gate that checks size, buying power and position limits before anything reaches the broker.
Broker API integration
Production connectors for the IBKR TWS API and IB Gateway, Tastytrade and MetaTrader 5, with session recovery, pacing-limit handling, contract resolution and a normalised order model that works across brokers.
Desktop trading workstations
Native Windows terminals in C# and WPF on .NET 8, or Python with PyQt6, for traders who want fast rendering, multi-monitor layouts and local stress testing alongside or instead of a browser client.
Broker and prop firm front ends
Client-facing platforms for brokers and trader-funding businesses: account dashboards, platform pages, funding calculators and client areas, built to sit in front of your existing back office and trading servers.
Trade journals and analytics
Broker-synced journals that group option legs into strategies, attribute P&L by structure and underlying, and let traders tag, annotate and review decisions without exporting anything to a spreadsheet.
How we deliver it.
Trading workflow mapping
We sit with your traders and risk owners, walk through how orders are actually placed, amended and hedged, and turn that into a written specification of states, limits and failure cases before any code is written.
Integration spike
We connect to your brokers and data vendors first, in paper or sandbox accounts, to prove market data, order round-trips, pacing limits and reconnect behaviour. Integration risk is retired early rather than discovered late.
Iterative build with trader feedback
Screens and the order path ship in short increments to a staging environment. Your traders use it against paper accounts, and we tune layout, latency and defaults from what they report back.
Hardened go-live
We load-test the data path, rehearse broker disconnects and kill-switch drills, then deploy with monitoring and runbooks. We can operate the platform afterwards or hand a documented system to your own team.

We trade on what we build
Our browser options terminal is on its thirtieth production version and runs against live broker accounts. The failure modes your traders worry about are ones we have already met, logged and fixed in our own stack.
One team from screen to server
The engineers who build the order ticket also write the broker connector, the Docker images and the alerting. There is no handover gap between front end, back end and infrastructure, and one team is accountable.
Your brand, our engineering
Platforms can ship entirely under your name through white-label development. Brokers and agencies can also resell or co-deliver our work through the white-label partner programme.
